This is a guide on how to change what happens when a device connects to Reflector. It will limit the possibility of unwarranted connections. Any connection attempts will need approval before they will display.

To prompt to accept the connection open Reflector, click the gear and go to Preferences.

Once that opens, go to the Connection Tab and look for item name “On Connection”. Click the drop down box and set to “Prompt to Approve” then click okay.

A message will now display on screen whenever there is a new connection attempt. The teacher must then approve the connection to allow the connecting device to display.
