No Projection options with WINDOWS + P for Revolve

Go to Device Manager

Go to display adapter and update driver by right clicking

(This can change for every computer)

Choose the 2012 driver option if it is an option and update, be patient

Restart the Revolve and be patient.

Check and be sure it can project with WINDOWS + P

Hope it stays

If the 2012 driver is NOT an option then go to the Device Manager

FInd the display adapter expand it by clicking the arrow

Right click the installed driver and uninstall it and make sure to check the box that says to ‘delete the driver software for this device’

Reboot the Revolve

As quickly as possible after reboot go back to the Device Manager and update the display driver by expanding the Display adapter and then right click the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter and choose update driver software

Select browse my computer for driver software

Type in

C:\swsetup\IntW7W864

Click the OK button and then the Next Button

Reboot the Revolve

Hope it stays

If it goes black screen with mouse and it won’t move past that

You need to boot into SAFE MODE by rebooting and tapping F9

Go to Device Manager and delete the Display Driver and reboot back to normal

Hope it stays

In windows 8:

I was able to fix it on a Windows 8 device by:

Installing an old version from the HP site.  Version 15 i believe

Booted into safe mode

Uninstalled all video drivers

Rebooted into normal mode

Display driver installed itself and worked
